I want to do a lux/tecnifibre hybrid in my wilson 6.1 classic. I am going to use tec. on the mains and lux on the crosses. I normally string at 52 lbs w/ tecnifibre biphase 16g. My question is...How much lower should I go for the lux on the crosses without going to low? Maybe 49 or 50 lbs? While maintaining my normal 52 on the mains.

And with the hybrid you are proposing the crosses will saw through the mains so fast you won't believe how much money you wasted. Polys and multis do not mix well. You are better off to resist the temptation. Go with a natural gut or solid core for your mains and you will be much better off in terms of durability.

I just put a hybrid in my Volkl using syn in mains and poly in crosses. I lowered the crosses by 3 lbs. I hated it. I lost all control. When I restring I probably won't lower more than 1 lb.
