I am a full bed poly fanatic- string MSV hex 16L at 60lbs. Just looking to test out a hybrid- tried before with NRG2 17- and that moved around way too much- bit too much pop too at 60lbs NRG2

I like the solid feeling of hitting a full bed of Hex- but would like to see how a hybrid of a pretty solid synthetic would do to the feel of the string bed.

MSV Hex 16L 60 LBS Mains

    W/

Gosen Pro Tuff 15L 58 LBS

    > or might I raise or even the LBS for the Gosen cros MSV60/Gos60/62

Does one think having a thicker cross would make more sense to switch the two moving the Hex to the cross and Gosen to the mains?

Thanks for any info on this.

Since I do not have the gosen 15. I did something else

    I went MSV hex 16L mains @ 60

    With MSV hex 18L cross@ 60

Wanted to see if I get the solid feel from the mains and an extreme bite from the drastic size difference. Will play this on Sunday. Tmrw

^^^ This was a fun set up! Not as powerful as a full 18L string bed- but I don't need that or want it. Instead it gave very good pocketing- and more power but controlled power- then when I string a full HEX 16L. I played a very hard hitter- and enjoyed the pocketing. I might string this set up once more- when these die. Next to try this 15l Gosen 16l Hex
