I would like to know what type of hybrid strings people here on the forum have used.

I was thinking about using Babolat VS Gut 16 main with Luxilon M2 crosses. Anyone tried this setup and could recommend what tension I should use for this setup?

I am looking for comfort, durability, power, spin in that order. I have tried full set of Babolat VS Gut at 58lbs and they break about 5 hours of play. I have also tried Luxilon Alu main with Luxilon Fluro crosses both at 55lbs and they feel liking hitting a board.

Try a thicker gauge of gut in the mains with Lux Alu in the crosses.

String the gut at the mid-50s with the Lux Alu in the Low-50s (or the high-40s, if u want).

so far ive tried alu power/vs gut at about 64 and it felt pretty nice til the gut started to wear out x.x

Current setup, Forten 18/vantage 17 poly at 53/53.

Very nice, comfy, good spin n most importantly, great durability.
