I'm kind of new to hybrid strings and i was wondering if you could cut two 40 feet sets of strings to do a hybrid?

For hybrid stringing, you will need 20-21 ft of string for the mains, around 18 ft of string for crosses.

So the answer is probably yes, but make sure you measure first to know exactly how many feet your racquet requires. Also, string sets are rarely exactly their advertised length. Luckily, most tend to come slightly longer, but you will get shorted occasionally, so check them!
