    Hey Everyone,

I recently tried X-1 with a full setup in a Yonex RQIS Tour XL. I liked some of the characteristics of the X-1 but didn't like a full job. I tend to sail a bunch of groundstrokes w/ the X-1. I want to find something to hybrid it with and have a few questions:

    1) I want to put a similar string to X-1 in the crosses, but X-1 is a bit pricey to be using in that manner, so what is something maybe more wallet friendly that I can use in the crosses?

    2) What can i use in the mains without going a poly or kevlar route (TE problems). I have used PSGD before and likes parts of it, not sure if that would mate well with something like an X-1. Anything that will give it a little bit more feel and control. I'm open to any suggestions

    Thanks

I really like the Isospeed Control Classic in a full job - poly spin and low powered for a multi. (actually polyefelin wraps)

String it high - at the top of your racquets range.

Really nice in a 16 x19 open patterned racquet.

I'd try nrg2, if i were you. it plays similarly to x1 in my opinion, only with slightly less power.
