Might try Pro Hurricane with a synthetic gut...It will save you a few bucks.

I have tried Hurricane and Gamma Gut.

Gamma Gut is excessively stiff for a synthetic gut. And Pro Hurricane is excessively stiff compared to newer polyesters.

Pure Drive + Stiff Strings is suicide.

    So I suggest...

    Signum Pro Poly Plasma mains
    Forten Sweet Synthetic Gut crosses.

A multi in the crosses doesn't feel a lot softer than with syn gut in the crosses IMO. Plus the stiff poly digs into the soft multi and breaks it fast. And consider that mains make up 80% of the feel of the stringbed and are you gonna pay twice as much for 20% than 80%?
