It was a Prince O3 Shark... I got the "chopping" on video.... Pics will be up momentarily.
Exciting! It will be interesting to see the video and pictures.
why would you do such a thing? Just curious
It was already broken.
Why was it broken?
Hairline fracture that got bigger... Poor construction.... No abuse.
Ah, Prince does have the tendency to put one too many holes in their racquets lately.
I guess you could say that...
I have the vids up so now I'm going to sleep..... I think I will be able to get the pics up in the am.
can you measure the bare handle dimensions?
Lol, you sound like your 12 years old.
But if you were going to destroy the racket why not do it properly and smash it on the court?
I'm Rock Strongo and I approve of this message.
I'm 14... Close enough...
Is this the proper way?
One of my all time favorite videos. Funny how, when he breaks the 1st people start booing. But by the 4th they're cheering him on.
Why bother taking them out of the bag....
I've broken a racket the "traditional" way.... Using the garden tools allow me to get better samples for science class...
Ok, I will right now.
Bare handle dimensions are as follows:
3 inches around, 8 1/8 inches long
I just checked it out under a microscope.... Crazy lookin stuff... Kinda like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0mQk1s4tKo
Its a little more jagged and rough than in that video, but many of the same pole-like structures.... Also, a few small strands that look like carbon nanotubes.... Still trying to figure out what they are.
Here is more info on what carbon nanotubes look like. I know they aren't carbon nanotubes because I have nothing close to the equipment needed to observe them.
