Isospeed Control 16. I've been recommending this string for a lot of people lately, lol. Also try Wilson NXT, Yonex 850 (I've never felt this one, but I've heard good things about it), or Pro Supex Maxim Touch. Do you need it in reels?

I think Alpha Sphere has the most comfortable feel of strings I've tried. A close second would be Technifibre 515. Others I've tried are TF NRG2, TF BiPhase, Wilson NXT and Sensation, Laserfibre Supreme, Pro Supex Maxim Touch, Dunlop Multi ??, Head Fibergel Power, Alpha Prodigy, Head IntelliString and IntelliTour, Babolat FiberTour, Gamma Live Wire and Prince Premier.

thats quite a list you've got there. I suggest Tecnifibre multifeel; very comfy and medium-low powered.

Isn't the Isospeed a poly? I have the package right here and it states that the material is Poly on the back.

that's isospeed baseline control. Isospeed control is a pre-stretched multifilament.

Isospeed Control and Babolat X Cel 2008, there are no softer strings (multis).

There are so many to pick from: Xcel Premium, NXT, Prince Premier Softflex, NRG, whatever...

I think the best string to try for multis as a started to see what you like best is wilson NXT. started with the string. however, i switched to isospeed control on my crosses. i feel like its the same thing, cheaper too.

NRG-2 17 is the place to start.

Weisscannon explosiv. Has the feel / touch of a multi but has poly like playing characteristics when hitting out. Awesome string.

Technifibre multi feel is a nice comfortable multi that is not too powerful and is also priced right at $ 9. I would say NXT and NRG2 are both powerful multi's; and that Tour Super 850 has more pop than multifeel.

I second the Explosiv. Best multi out there, IMO.

I tried Maxim Touch 1.25 recently and was impressed. Low-powered for a multi, but also quite responsive. Absorbed incoming pace well and sent the ball back with pace and control. Very stable and comfortable stringbed.

Yonex Tour Super 850 has long been a fave of mine. More pop than MT, but still very comfortable. Very good tension and playability maintenance. High quality, great value.
