    Hi,

Does anyone know of, or has found a replacement synth grip that has a very firm feel to it?

I know the likes of Babolat Skin Feel give a nice firm feel, but I need a grip of standard thickness (1.8/1.9mm).

It seems the firmer grips tend to be the thinner ones, so if someone knows of a standard thickness firm synth grip, please share the wealth of your knowledge.

I have been using leather plus overgrip on my rackets, but I want to try a firm feeling synth grip as an alternative. I've not been getting on well with a variety of overgrips lately.. The drop in handle weight doesnt bother me, its more about getting the right feel.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Syntec Pro - which may or not be simply a rebadged version of Syntec? - may be what you want. A good firm feel with some bevel definition. Compression is to be expected over time but by and large I treat Syntec Pro as a fuller, thicker version of Skin Feel.

Thanks Maxx. I had this feeling it be Syntec Pro.

I like the Skin Feel grip and use it on another racket of mine, so I'm glad that this might be the one for me. Many thanks, much appreciated.

^ I think you and I are on the same path when it comes to grips and grip tweaks :)

    I think so too.

I've tried so many overgrips and none feel as good as a synth grip. I put a Skin Feel on my Exo3 93 and it feels great, but I want to stick a synth on my Dunlop 300 now, but don't need to go down a size. From the description of the Syntec, it seems ideal.

I am loving Skin Feel. You could try using over grip under the Skin Feel to compensate for it's thinness. I even like Skin Feel's surface a bit more than my longtime favorite TF Conformax.

It's firm like leather but made of rubber...
