    Tourna grip.

That's the one grip that when I put it on I feel that "Oh, YEAH!!!" and pumped up like Jimmy Connors. I'm writing this because I just got back from 6 hour playing and at the end, I took off my tourna grip because it was dead and I couldn't hold on to the handle. Probably because I swing very freely, but whatever.

In the past, this is all true as well. Anything else does not compare.

That's great that you love Tournagrip. I love it too, but I change grips every season.

I actually like the tournagrips. My hands sweat alot, and when I demoed the dunlop aerogel, the grip sucked because of the sweat on my hand. Next day I went back to my racquet with the tournagrip and it was nice and dry.

Yea man I feel the same. It feels the best since my hands sweat a lot. Only problem is that it lasts only 2-3 weeks.

Well I usually hit on the courts once a week & hit serves in my backyard usually twice a week. If I hit every day on the courts, I bet itd last me, at best, a week and a half. But most likely a week.

The bottom of mine is starting the tear a little, top half is fine, discoloration/dirty where my main grip is. I havent changed it all summer, put it on before midway and dont plan on changing it until next year. Still absorbs my sweat well, does a better job than not having it.

I hit about 4-5 hours everyday and I'm only on my 2nd tournagrip after about 2-3 weeks. Then again, I suppose it's how the player using his/her racquet with that grip.

Well it depends on how much you sweat and how rough your skin is and how often you drop/throw your racquet. If you drop your racquet often your grip tends to sc**** on the floor and rip.

However...3 weeks for only 2 tournagrips is leaning towards the cheap side :p

I used to use it but every time I sweat the racquet would fly out of my hands so I stopped using it. I think I only used it for the hype, but I wouldn't recommend it to others.

I rotate between tournagrip and Wilson pro overgrip. I love the way tournagrip absorbs sweat and i love the feel but it gives me blisters :( Right now im using a Wilson pro overgrip. I wish they had something that absorbs sweat but doesent give blisters...

Haha, well my skin isn't too rough. I get occasional blisters, so I have to wrap a thin layer of athletic tape at the spot where it occurs. As for dropping/throwing racquets, I will never abuse my racquet that way. Even if I lose a match or it's not my day to play tennis, I would never drop/throw my racquet if that's what you meant. There's usually a small rip but I don't really care about it.

The reason why I have only used 2 tournagrips in the past 2-3 weeks is because, after the front side looks disgusting, I switch to the back side and use that instead. There's a small tacking feeling to it still, but as long as something can cover my synthetic grip, then I'm fine. :)

I put 40 grit sandpaper on my racket and got the same results!!

Seriously, I don't know how people use tournagrip..I have some pretty thick calluses, but sure enough, I get blisters if i use that stuff. It's a MANS overgrip!!

I don't care as long it is brand new. What I can't tolerate is an old or torn grip.

If you have thick calluses and still having blisters, I suggest you wrap your calluses with a thin layer of athletic tape. :-?

That would be me. That was even with sweatbands on both arms, a hat, and constantly toweling off. I liked it when it was fresh though. When I switched to Wilson Pro I got all of the benefits I found with Tournagrip, save for a little less moisture absorption, but the grips last MUCH longer. I also like the longer length of the Wilson Pro grip and the XL of Tournagrip was spotty to find here.

Can't stand Tourna grip I - the Tournagrip II is OK, but for me clearly not as good as the Gamma Supreme overgrip, which is the best in the world for me.

Yonex Supergrap and Wilson Pro is OK grips, but only for 2-3 hours - the Tourna grip only last me 1 hour max before I have to throw it out and put on a new one. Gamma Supreme will last me 3-4 hours and feels great all the way :D

I've tried TG and didn't like it compared to Head Xtremesoft. I like the soft-tacky feel. I liked how Xsoft doesn't "suck" up all the sweat it like keeps it outside the grip, you wipe it off and it feels just like new. TG gave me blisters as well, with the soft, that fixed the problem.

Toura is the best. Iv recently had to use some wilson pros because my tourna ran out and they are ok once but are way to tacky. Iv got my tourna back on and loving it!

    wilson pro overgrip white...

they don't hold up like tourna, but i think they feel better right out of the pack than tourna.

Plus my Wilson rep here in Chicago hooked me up with a 50 pack for free... so I may be biased right now haha

    Tournagrip should be marketed as:

    Tournagrip for Men.

tournagrip's ephemeral brilliance only ads to its claim as the temperamental genius of the tennis overgrip family. so deal.

Pro Supex and Wilson Pro overgrips.. both play great and cant go wrong with either one IMO... Pro supex wins in the price category though

I use that all the time as well. I don't care if I have to change it every 1-2 weeks, it's too freakin awesome. Everything else slips and gives me blisters.

Mmm, fresh Tournagrip. Almost wanna replace it just for that new grip feeling...hahaha. At $1 per grip or less, what's the problem?

I'm experimenting with Wilson Pro right now and the softness is a nice change. It gets slippery long before it wears, though. Strangely enough, I actually got a blister from the Wilson Pro this weekend...never got one from Tourna (only calluses, but those are good things).

it also depends on how good u are or like how hard u play on the court because a beginner can put on a tourna grip but it won't even waste it in 3months play 4 hours a day

    a fresh western grip..jk.

i like tourna, altho it doesnt last long, but when i'm sweating hard, it gives me better tackiness than a wet wilson pro.

Tourna is good for about 2-3 hours. I keep it on longer but it doesn't have the same feel.

Tourna II is more durable but totally different feel with more tack.

I am going back to supergrap or gamma supreme.
