I shall toast your poast with a square of Lindt Excellence tonight prior to my nightly scheduled dreams of beautiful tennis by the one true champion! Kind words from a true queen of the Fed-eration!

Damn! Mirka used to be hot (in a sweet down-to-earth girl next door kinda way -- dem dimples!). Even now, with all the weight she's gained I still don't understand how people can consider her unattractive. Personally, I have always felt that she has been a severely underrated part of Rogers success. It's his relationship with Mirka that actually imbues Roger's persona with an "everyman" kind of modest humanity and groundedness, especially considering how most of his peers in this sport and others have been enticed by their fame into forging liasons on a way more base and superficial level.

No small coincidence her initials are MVF...most valuable friend!

BTW, "model pretty" doesn't always equate to "superficial".

How can you possibly insinuate that from what I stated? I thought it was obvious that by "forging liaisons" I meant that at the very least "model like good looks" wasn't the basis of Roger and Mirka's relationship when Roger could very easily have gone that route like most of his famous sporting peers. Hell, if I had Roger's money and fame I can't say I would not have been tempted into choosing a date for myself through a swimsuit catalog myself.

Stop with the outrage. I insinuated nothing but the fact that none of us personally know whether any of the beauty queens currently being dated by other tennis players are empty shells of beauty or authentic, devoted soulmates capable of improving their mates' lives and others around them. Stacy (sp?) Fish is a perfect example. Outside of the tennis world, "model pretty with a brain and a soul", Iman comes to mind.

I try not to judge those I know not of. That was all I was saying.

"understand English?" & "drama queen" are your phrases, just as "base and superficial levels". Read my post anyway you want...that's your right...just don't get your panties in a wad at me for pointing out none of us know how or why these guys meet and choose from the many potential mates they encounter.

The "understand English" and "drama queen" retorts smack of pure projection...I have a degree in Communications and my friends of the BOTE will attest to my nimble use of Shakespeare's tongue while never exhibiting anything close to overdramatics.

Amusing. As if you pseudo-internet-credibility is worth anything. Ironically, all it does is reinforce the utter failure of your reading comprehension. Suffice it to say, you completely misconstrued my original post. Anyhow, if you inexplicably find this argument worth pursuing further feel free to PM me -- I dare not let petty bickering sully this exalted thread any more than it already has. :)

2005 Federer was so awesome. He used to do some cool racquet stunts.
There was Arazzi before him back then too.

If you're rating my soccer skills on a 1-7 NTRP-like scale, much <3...unlike SexiRogi's mad skills...nice dribbles with both legs, Maestro!

So sexi! The phrase "casual elegance" describes the SartorialSwissSorceror. Reminds me of the line from Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London"..."I'd like to meet his tailor".

Assuming SMCRogi was a full-term baby, Robert and Lynette began their Christmas of 1980 the very best of ways.

BTW, welcome to the BOTE, GOAT BAAH!

Aah (rhymes with Baah), but may the BOTE rub off on such trolls. I'm reminded of one Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus. Sainthood and a fine cathedral in London named for him were just a few of his rewards for his conversion. SexiMasterClass tennis may yet bring trolls to see the light.

My brain is frying out, like my iPhone's recent gagging on such eye candy...case in point my allusion to the "fine cathedral in Venice"...I meant to type London instead of Venice. Of course, when attempting to correct my faux pas, the edit option disappeared from the screen.

Was in a cab headed to Mccarran Airport in Vegas this morning and found a 1922 silver Eagle dollar on the seat.

Total GOAT find. Cab driver seemed pissed he didn't get it. I see its only worth like $18 though.

    LoL

Felt a little sluggish today b4 heading on my rounds as guide extraordinaire to Orlando turistas so I donned SMCRogi's Wimby '06 champion crew...white with orange trim and scaly-back vents.

After a woof of Lindt Excellence and a spritz of Eau de Fed, I wheeled through I-Drive on a mission to make the Eagle proud of my efforts. I was richly rewarded with much dead-Prez Eagle-adorned confetti thrown my way by rabid fans of my prowess. Gawd, I'm feeling sexi tonight as I love my Excellence-colored Spaniels, their tongues lapping at my salty calves. Truly a GOAT night! All made able by Eagle-like aspirations to be the very best at whatever I do. Allez Rogi, allez BOTE! Victory is within the grasp of the basalted talons we are all armed with...simply by trying each moment to be the very best. Excellence is in the attempt, not solely in the result.

A noble BOTEhand, Natalia, recently posted a quote from another soul who lived a long life striving for Excellence. It made me review many of his quotes...hence my new signature. Each day I shall try to be the very best. In that way, those that touch my days may be more easily satisfied.

Carry on, BOTE! I am proud to be your friend!

This blur pic of Joel's coin reminded me one pic (equally blur!) which I took this winter during my ski holiday in Rogerland. In the twilight of the entry of the chalet where I was staying, proudly and majestically was standing a gorgeous sculpture of Eagle.

Surprising resemblance between these two, seems to me :

Any image created of an eagle emanates an aura of natural brilliance or genius which often distorts the light around it. This, naturally, leads to blurry photographs. Also, taking into account the Federer Exclusion Principle, no two eagles can occupy the same space in the same state of being at the same time.

The attention to detail is uncanny. Did anyone notice on the "tails" side where, or more aptly who minted this coin?
