He is on GOAT (albeit time-consuming) mission of chasing/exterminating spamming trolls from the Racquet section. May Eagle's love be with Him...

Ah, that explains why my DaliQuest2014 went unrequited last weekend.

He wasn't in the Apple Store, or the Grand Central Oyster Bar, or the Comedy Cellar, or Central Park, or the Shake Shack, or the Schnike or the Uni Qlo, or any Starbucks at any given time. :(

    Sigh. I guess there's always DaliQuest2015. . . .

How does poor Istomin always get the toughest draws in Basel, EVERY TIME??? Two years running, SMC Rogi rallies from set down to beat the Uzbekh Warrior.

Federer better be wearing his best Rolex so he doesn't miss his appointment with Dr. Ivo tomorrow.

Hopefully Rogi will give HIM a check-up instead!

I was looking at the Basel entry on the Internet Encyclopedia of Knowledge, when I stumbled upon another testament to the Beast Of Basel:

Basel is his in all but name.

Up, up, and Allez to a 6th title in the Kingdom of Suisse tomorrow!

6th Basel it is, the holy sacred Mecca of Tennis.

As I chant FedMantra, I feel the euphoria and the buildup of excitement of having a happy (YE) ending.

Well, those two 40-0 service games that went to BP's were quite far from perfect !

The serve on set point/BP at 5-6 was sweet.

So I have tickets for both afternoon and evening sessions tomorrow; one of them I'm near the back, the other I'm right at the front.

    Front row for Federer/Murray

Unfortunately I didn't :( He ended his practise, and somehow managed to swoop past me without me seeing.

Not that I was close enough anyway. I'll try and get a shot of him leaving the tunnel when the match starts.
Thanks :) A day off from tennis tomorrow (sightseeing!), then it's back to the O2 for both semis and the final. It's been an expensive trip... my friends and family will have to make do with an imagination Christmas this year.

I'm going for the first semi on Sat and the final on Sun! Flying over tomorrow morning. Will probably go see what's left of the poppies. Yeah tickets were not cheap since I got them off viagogo.

Wait, did Fed even sign autographs then? And do you need a ticket to get into the practices on centre court before each session?

I saw the poppies yesterday, it's a pretty awe inspiring sight.

Federer signed autographs, I'm just not really into that sort of thing. I was happy just to see him play.

Also, his arms and legs are a hell of a lot veinier than you see on TV  same for Murray and Ferrer actually.
