I'm still taking it all in. There was a definite "Church of Federer" (or "Cult") feel in the air before he walked on court, but by the end of the first set I was quietly mouthing the words "my God," "genius," sublime etc, as much as the people around me were screaming it.

There isn't an experience like it.

...Saying that, when his first serve percentage appeared on the board at the end, I wasn't surprised ;) I don't think he made a single first serve on my side of the court all match!

Haha, hopefully the semis and final will be religious experiences as well. Can't wait!

Watching Fed live is so special. Saw him vs. Murray in 2010 at the WTF. And against Tsonga, Rafa and Tsonga in 2011. Among others.
    Enjoy it!

There were a few videos but I think I'll edit those down, first. That'll have to wait until Monday at the earliest.

Rogis grip appears to be frying pan 4.5.

Unfortunately not. Lille is not very far from Lausanne, but the London trip was pretty expensive... We will probably be in Basel on Sunday, though, supporting the Eagle from his Native Nest.

    One day many summers ago
    In the Suisse Village Basel
An old warrior, a woman, and a shepherd
    Were GOATing

    Enjoying the springtime sun.
    Overhead an Eagle flew
    Drifting, circling, dipping
Against a sky the color of deep water.

The shepherd looked at the Eagle and saw
Terror and death from the skies,
Killer of his flocks, savagery on wings.

The warrior looked at the Eagle and saw
The symbol of courage and fierce pride
    Whose sacred feather he wore.

The woman looked at the Eagle and saw
The beauty and grace of a dancer,
Of the Wind Spirit swaying in the willows,
And the drifting clouds at sunrise.

So it is, that men see the Great Spirit
    In many ways and forms,
Yet like the ones in the village
All are looking at the same Eagle.

Have always wondered what BOTE means. Courtesy of urbandictionary I'm assuming it's not any of:

    i) Balls-On-The-Eyes
    ii) Chicano slang for jail
iii) See boat. Qoolz way of spelling boat.
iv) From the latin word BOAT. A vessel in which many hours are spend on the water, along with most of your income and beer
    v) An extreme misspelling of the word 'Bored.' The meaning is, however, the same.
vi) Derived from the Latin word(s), botel and teh; where as the botel, meaning a relative "loser" and teh, meaning "impersonator"; in conjunction, these two formal Latin words come together as an Italian, Hungarian and French word defining a "loser" who pretends\acts like another character, rather them himselve alone.
vii) acronym for b!+ch Of The Earth. BOTE is quite useful to describe anyone who fits said criteria.
viii) "Beware Of The Eyebrows"- An expression of utter dissatisfaction with someone or something.

^^^vii): not an anagram, but an acronym... Have known many of your acronym, thankfully none I pay alimony to, but wasn't thinking of it or the other nominations when I coined it...Brotherhood Of The Eagle.

Well spotted my Lord. I have rectified the error. No doubt the usurious felon who contributed this to urban dictionary lacks your *eagle* eye.

Re: BOTE. This is the best thing these letters could possibly stand for. Sire I pledge my allegiance to it, in public, now and forever, until my death or the Eagle's retirement do us part.

    Your humble serf,
    Falstaff.
