Is there a Vine of that earlier crosscourt forehand winner he hit in the 2nd set?

I'm not really a 'fan' of Roger. But despite thinking it will be really hard for him to beat Djokovic tomorrow, I really consider it will help this sport's legacy that Roger get his last Slam tomorrow.

#2 on ESPN's SportsCenter top 10 plays, second only to some everyday MLB diving catch in centerfield. This was vintage SexiRogi bag of tricks, as good as any from '04-'07.

    Yep.
    Good for tennis.

That said, it would also be good for tennis if Novak or Andy had won.

I am just banking on my intuitive feelings that Sexi will win today.

    Allez Roger Federer

#15 deserved an epic, #18 deserves a blowout.

    Sexi to win 6/3, 7/6 (7/3), 6/1 if he serves first, 6/4, 7/6 (7/3), 6/1 if he receives.

First break of serve to come early in the match, and Roger to ride it out and win the 1st.

Djokovic slightly ahead in the 2nd, but unable to close it out. Roger to save set point(s) at the end, then catch fire to win 22 out of the next 28 points, winning the TB 7/3 (or 7/2) and breaking immediately in the 3rd to go 3/0 up, essentially killing the match.

Okay, I'm not 100% sure of this prediction, but even being only 95% correct would suit me fine (ie I'd be okay with a 6/3 third set). :D

Allez BOTE! Allez Rogi, history is there for the taking... and all the ballboys the world over will thank you, too. ;)

LOL, only ballboys ? What about billboards ? ;)

Btw, I was thinking that there is a huge possibility that the law of 13 may be off by one, happen a slam too early this time. Unless he wins the USO too ;)

I love me some JoelDali, but it's time to lock this thread. That was it for Rogi. All we can look forward to is winning stuff like Toronto or Indian Wells. :(

Rogi can still win Wimbledon 2016, guys.
Doesn't mean he will, but if he gets a good draw, and Novak is knocked out, i wouldn't bet against him.

OP bump...feeling very Sexi as Rogers Cup and Birthday #34 both approach. Hope he cuts some cake and hits with the next August 8th GOAT while in Montreal!

There will never be another "August 8th GOAT" (though I wish the best to young FĂ©lix). The UN has decided to make this day a "retired number" when Rogi steps out of the professional circuit. The year will have 364 days, 365 on leap years.
