You didn't miss all that much except lately Rog continues to amaze on his backhand, of all things.

    That's good news.
I shall be continuing my tradition of going on a long run to celebrate Fed's performance at Majors. This Saturday i shall attempt 2:15 or maybe 2:30 in anticipation of a win !

Glare at me all you want! They're a lot closer in time zones to you than me. I was sleeping while Rogi was SABRing.

Will you need a wake up call from my front desk at The Vortex so you can watch him walk The Dog on Wednesday???

I don;t know what the nature of your wake up call is. But i don't want the early morning olfactory wake up call that Poobah issues in the Vortex as he raises one side of his blanket.

Blasphemous post: including a photo of a Cortex-laden instrument of mediocrity is one of the seven deadly sins proscribed in this thread. You may cleanse yourself of this deed by bathing in a tub full of basalt crystals and special sureshs spray decanting in @JoelDali 's crystal Claret jug as we speak!:p

I am with this stupid Videocon d2h that takes ages to give me a channel when i subscribe.

After FO, I will either revert to Tata Sky or move to Airtel.
(Tata doesn't have Neo Sports which shows the FO).

In Bangalore, I use Airtel and I have no complaints. I ask for a new channel, I get it activated in no time.

From Dec first, I am in Gurgaon and my guest house gives DEN channel. I am able to get SONY ESPN

Were there more lesser tourneys in Jimbo's day? How did he do it?

No byes 1R is a big key why match counts are lower today than even a decade ago. That and a lot of consolidation of floundering events has led to fewer matches being played at fewer tournaments to choose from. Then, the pure physicality of today's game grinds on the players additionally so they're smart to draw back on their schedules. Fed will never play again even close to the 97 matches he chalked up in '06.

He took the sexi train going everywhere

Coach Luthi in the locker room
Crafting plans for the returns to boom
With each match, the BOTE watch through the fortnight

Up and down the message board
Their fingers typing through the night
    Sexi eagle
    Living just to win elation
    Waiting somewhere on the court

Working hard to go through his draw
    Everybody wants to applaud
Playing everyone to hold a slam
    Just one more time
Rogi will win, mugs will lose
At their presser they will sing the blues
    Oh, the records never end
They go on and on, and on, and on

    Relax folks, ...
Will you be watching the SF match though? IIRC you were so nervous about the US Open final that you couldn't watch most of it?

Nope, I will not watch it. I have really high hopes this time, like always! May be I am incorrigible :(

US Open match was torture. Saw second and third sets and felt sad, messing up with break points. Funny enough after Wimbledon 2015 I thought Roger will never touch Novak in slams. The US open gave me more hopes.

This time I am very positive he will beat him. I would rather have all those hopes squashed in one moment than slowly, giving hope when there was none.

I am flattered by your memory though, thanks :)

EagleAerie in Melbourne is a happy warm home for four BabyEaglets munching on CzechMeat from the slaughter of BasicBerd by ExcellentEagle and washing it down with fresh MotherMirkaMilk. Proud Rogi looks on with approval as he sets his EagleEye sight on larger and more tasty prey from the Serbian plain. In just days the Eaglets will dine on BelgradeBoar cooked on a spit over an open fire, savoring every mouthful of the spoils Poppa Bird brings home to them. They shall never suffer from hunger as their provider always brings home the bacon!
