Ideas on how to develop a loose and soft grip

    I tend to squeeze the grip of my racquet. Any ideas on how to get a loose grip?

    I presume you play lots of matches? It just might be that you're real tense/nerves. I used to get that. If that's the case it's just more being comfortable with how your hitting...

    why do you want a soft grip? You want your racket face to move at impact and unstable volleys ?

    your grip should be loose until impact.

    i do a near-death grip on my ground strokes for some reason... it's always been a bad habit to do it on things like that, like toothbrushes
