If Federer had a winning H2H against everyone, would you consider him the GOAT?

Many people don't even consider him in tier I great, let alone in goat discussion.

I think to rate the amount of people who have Borg ahead of Federer in the goat discussion as many is an overstatement.

that is just one list, it means nothing, not to mention it is idiotic to put the men and women in the same list. Federer shouldn't `t even be in the top 5, he won slams in a weak era, Nadal did it in the hardest era, beating players like Djokovic and Federer in most of them.

Getting beaten by a rank 100 player in the world is embarrassing.

It's a pity. Rafa's best years are behind and he won't be in the mix for long:(

At least he has a chance to break the Rolland Garros record but it will be tough.

I dont think Nadal sucks. Who here has said Nadal sucks? Who has said Federer is the best at everything? Don't resort to misrepresenting, it is disgracefull.

You can keep having your ignorance thoughts but rafa will continue to spank federer, and federer will continue to become older and uglier than ever and live with his ugly fat wife lol

Well Nadal's ranking is too high for now to allow them to meet before second round before Rafa retires but hey, anything is possible

Since Nadal won his first slam, Federer has won more slams than Nadal... So Federer has won more slams than Nadal has in what you call the "hardest era".

If Federer won every match 6-0 6-0 or 6-0 6-0 6-0 would you consider him the GOAT? If Federer won 83 Grand Slams would you consider him the GOAT?

Stupid thread. He already is the GOAT.

ZeroSkid, what you've just posted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

None of Federer's stats are anywhere near the difficulty of the Calendar Year Grand Slam. Federer can't even win 4 slams in a row, let alone in the same calendar year. He can't even win one Calendar Year Grand Slam. He's not even in the conversation of GOAT.

Federer isn't horrible, he's just not in the GOAT conversation. Isn't it enough that he got Roddick as his main rival (or main rival in which he was successful against)? Does he really need bonus hype too?

If they are so easy, it is telling that Nadal has not copied any of the inumerous records Fed has, he.

Nadal gets his own records which Federer can't touch, because Nadal is better on clay than Federer ever was on any other surface. Hence Nadal has the single-surface records. How unlucky is Nadal that only one slam is on clay?

You're un fair. Roger has a very good record in Basel. Nobody ever won this tournament so many times. Roger is an unsurpassed goat of Basel.

Rafa's also unsurpassed in Barcelona. Roland Garros and Monte Carlo Masters do not count. Goatness is revealed in the minor tournaments on the indoor courts where ROger's hairdo is not affected by the wind/rain/sun/snow/hail/humidity/DRAUGHT/ETC.

Even though Federer is really good in the indoors, he is also equally as good outdoors. Maybe a lot of his success at the indoor events is due to him having an unlimited supply of energy, while the rest of the tour is actually tired at the end of the year.

Nadal is great on clay. Federer has the superior overall rcords. Have to see if Nadal can change that.

Not till he beats in major finals Laver,Gonzales,Budge,Tilden,Perry,Kramer,Rosewall,Hoad,Borg,Connors,Lendl,Mac,Sampras...which he certainly won´t.

    GOAT discussion is futile.

Federer is the best no matter what you think.

The question is Nadal has better H2H against most top layers He is yet to have most GS, so what does that say about him?? Underachiever?
