What do you think?
Rafa in four.
No, Nole isn't strong enough.
Now if Djordje were to reach the final....
I think Raphla should see it as a great accomplishment if he takes a set from Novak.
Nole in 4!
No, Nadal isn't good enough.
The trolling on these boards is awesome.
Djokovic might win one of the first two sets, but by the conclusion of the 3rd set djokovic will be all out of steam.
Nadal in 3 or 4. No hope for Djokovic. Despite what the Djokotards want.
Then Connors would win in 5.
If it's 5 sets Rafa wins. If Rafa loses, it won't go to a decider.
Either way, nah.
The Djoker in the FO final? I suppose it could happen. Isn't there a chance that he may drop down to the #3 slot by the time that the FO rolls around?
Probably not, but I'd like to see it for a change!
Nadal takes it in 4. Nadal won't be blown off the court on clay and in a best of 5 situation, I'll pick Nadal anyday over the Djoke.
He got blown off the court in 3 set..2009
You want to point to the one exception in a clay career that has dominance written all over it, that's your choice. He had a bad day at the office; unless you're working on someone close to him getting a divorce or something, don't count on it.
rafa 6-0 6-2 6-1
Nole in 4 FO 2011.
I'd actually pick Djokovic this one time looking at how Nadal was gasping for air at the end of their recent Miami encounter.
Djokovic in 5 if it's the same Djokovic who beat Nadal twice in a row. Anything less and Nadal takes it in 3, max 4 sets.
Nadal in 3, but it won't be 0's and 1's. Something like 7-5 6-3 6-3
Djokovic in 4.
36 63 76 76
Federer was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than djokovic on clay in his prime, even with that bh. Nole has to beat Ferrer first...then we can start talking.
Dude....Federer is better than Djokovic on clay when comparing both of their primes. However now, Djokovic will be a bigger factor on clay than Federer and that is a good thing against Nadal!
Plus....Ferrer won't get far enough to meet Djoker at the FO!
What are you talking about? We have never seen prime Djokovic on clay so we can't compare them just yet.
The King being taken to five????? You guys are way out of line here.
Nole will will in 3.
Or 4 if Roger tired him out the previous day. Or 3, if Murray tired Rafa in the semi. Or 4 is Nole is injured. Or 3 if Rafa is injured.
Are you sure that you know what a troll is? The guy was expressing a legit opinion/viewpoint. This hardly constitutes troll behavior. Your response OTOH...
Djok would have to win in 4 sets or less to beat Nadal on clay.
Nadal has supreme match fitness in 5th setters, and supreme fitness on clay (it's more about efficient movement, but you get my point).
I agree with this exactly.
Actually that was FOUR sets speedy. And the 4th was in a tiebreak, WHILE injured.
Yes and Rafa will make history retiring from his first FO final with a right knee injury.
Actually, Raphla won't make the final this year. He'll be knocked out by Berdych.
I think Rafa would probably win in 4 sets - however, I also thought Rafa would beat him in IW and Miami so lets hope we get tp find out.
The other day Novak told us that he thought he played well on clay and had done really well in 2009 on clay.
Not sure what went wrong for him in 2010 - Todd Martin perhaps?
If anyone could best him Novak could - he has tremendous self-belief and after his start this season who can blame him!
So what? Nadal easily beating Fed in his prime on clay does not equate to Nadal beating Djoker now on clay. Nadal was a very bad matchup for prime Fed. The same is not true versus Djoker.
Djoker in 4 sets.
Separate names with a comma.
