    Nadal is Boss

He would beat Sampras on every surface except grass, I think Sampras would have the edge on that surface. But I still think Nadal would get a few matches on grass.

Kafelnikov was an excellent player, people forget that.

He was never a consistent Top 3 players, but he was in the Top 10 most of the time and then woke up once in a while to make a run at a slam in good fashion.

Kafelnikov could duke it out against anyone from the baseline - Sampras lost because Kafelnikov was in form during the FO and was blasting BH's and FH's like no tommorow. It had as much to do with the surface as Soderling's victory over Nadal had to do with the fact that it was on clay.

Kafelnikov and Sampras were 2-2 in terms of their claycourt H2H, after all.

Back on-topic - Nadal vs. Sampras is definitely on my wishlist of EXO matches in the near future (while Pete can still play half-decent tennis).

It's nice to hope, but if Sampras and Nadal played today, Nadal would tear him to pieces.

Prime vs. prime is another story, however.
