If Safin can compile a decent clay season, he could break into top 20!!!

    I can't remember the last time the big Russian was in the top 20, but this is very exciting news for me. I hope Safin can rack up some points to get into the top 20 before he has to defend Wimby points.

    Safin is weak on clay. Too inconsistent and not fit enough.

    Safin has a clay title and two Hamburg finals losing to Federer and Guga.

    For a multiple Slam champion, former No. 1, I don't think being Top 20 is that big of a deal.

    Yes I agree. I don't think Safin cares much if he is ranked 20 or 30 now.
