So seriously, I know pretty much everyone on these boards (including myself) has seen their share of amazing tennis shoes and their subsequent colorways come and go over the years. So... I have to ask, if Nike were to bring back an old favorite, as they have with the Oscillates, which of these from the past ten years would you want brought back the most?

(I could only include 10 options so I left out the Breathe III's and the Vapor V's)

I tried to incompass most of the great Nike shoes of the past ten years. Sorry if I missed any good ones.

What about the ones that Courier used to wear? NDestrukt? It was spelled in a weird way, but they had a huge toe and were very durable...although each shoe was like lugging and elephant around the court.

Write in for me..and I need your help identifying these:

    Nike should from summer 1999..
    Courier wore them.
Blue/white with a little lime green..

I can't remember the name for the life of me, but they were the first shoe with the "drag on" technology.

    Awesome shoes...
I would buy as many pair as I could find if available.
Those were my first tennis shoes.

Does anybody remember the name of these??

Definitely the Nike Air Zoom Challenge Court. I remember getting those at the 96 US Open. Classics... Air Flare and LWP's were great too.

Hmmmmm the one who started this poll must be a youngster. Who could forget the Nike Air Zoom POUNCE??? the best sleakest quickest tennis shoes Nike ever made. Worn by Agassi a little bit (they have the "AA" on the tongue), and Petr Korda and Justin Gimelstob. Nike has never equalled that shoe. i still have my pair from 1998 or 1999. well-worn of course....

I had the Court implosions in black/silver/red.
Best tennis shoe I ever owned.
Second best were the original Breathe Free in the same colour way.
I would buy both if they brought them back.

No love for the Air Zoom Beyond? Not the crappy second version from 2000, but the classic white/navy/silver of agassi's awesome summer of '99? hell, any color of that shoe. the first was white, a lighter blue and, like, a flourescenty yellow, then for his big Roland Garros win it was white/gray/purpley blue(?) I never got a pair but always wanted any of them. Lost a few bay auction heartbreakers trying to get those things. I do agree on the Air Zoom Pounce. Best shoe I ever got for $40 (from e a s t b a y). The original white/yellow/black were awesome. Throw in some sweet ATC IV's if we're going back further than 10 years. I'd vote for certain colors of the Air Court Motion as well.

Air Resistance II's were my favorite Nike shoes (and the last Nike show I used before switching over to adidas). Luckily Nike sponsored my college team so I got several pairs of them.

Used to have a contact @ Nike who sent me T O N S of shoes. Shoes I didn't even know existed, or had ever seen. Yellow/Black Air Zoom Pounce- ugly but whoa they fit perfect; Air Zoom Beyond, loved em. The Oscillate, of course. But the best- the gray 3/4 McEnroe cross-trainer style.

Here's one of JC wearing Brooks shoes- only pro I ever saw.

At one time there was to be a "Connors Classic Reebok line," but never saw it.

Best Shoe ever isn't even on the list

The best tennis shoe ever made period has to have been the Nike Air Zoom Pounce... made for Agassi, amazing, just amazing shoe period. I had 2 pairs in high school and college and never lost in them, i should have bought 20 pairs if i weren't a poor student at the time, now i settle for hyped shoes like the vapors and cages... nothing beats the Nike Air Zoom Pounce.
