Just two players, one from the wta and one from the atp - you'd never have to watch them play again. Who would it be?

    1. Sharapova
    2. Nadal

    Definately Sharapova, or shriek-apova.
As for the men, I'd probably have to say Hewitt. He just rubs me the wrong way.

Actually a 3 way tie for the WTA,

WTA = Sharapova, Venus, Serena just so I'm not force fed their matches on a daily basis on tv whenever there is a tournament.

ATP = I can pretty much live with everybody on the ATP tour

WTA: Panova (the ugliest of russians and she can't play worth of crap)
ATP: Kiefer is one mean SOB that tennis can def. do without.

atp would be federer just so roddick could have more grand slam titles
and wta would be serena just looking at her is bad enough

Mary Pierce (Ms. take a half hour to serve-she even beats out Shreikapova for me) and Keifer, no contest.

    WTA: Shriekapova, without question.
ATP: I'd ban her there too, just in case she tries a second career on that side of the tennis fence.... :)

This is a very tough question.

From WTA: Venus Williams, since she seems just to be a lesser version of Serena.
From ATP: This one is really tough. I'd have to say Nadal since I want someone to win the grand slam sometime soon. But at the same time, I really appreciate Nadal being on the tour, since he is the only person who has beaten the #1 consistently

    Federer and Sharapova

I’d have to go with Federer because we need more variety in champions. The field would definitely open up if Federer was gone. Maybe he will have a serious shoulder problem like guga and eventually fade away into oblivion. On the WTA side I’d have to go with Sharapova. She has so many priorities right now and tennis isn’t her top priority anymore. She should think about going into singing or acting instead of tennis.

atp: i pretty much like everyone, so i guess i have to say fed because im sick of fed winning everything thats not on clay. i mean i love watching him becasue hes so smooth, but i think the game overall would be better if there was more than one person winning every event he entered.
wta: amelie mauresmo. man that forehand looks so ugly, and so does her backhand, but her forehand just looks terrible. i think her volleys' techniques are extremely underpar compared to how they're rated, but i think this may be a transition time for women's tennis after the graff/hingis/williams domination, we need some fillers before some really great women's players come up.

So you want to open up competition by removing the best? That's tall-poppy syndrome in overdrive! There's almost always a dominant player, so if we remove Federer, Nadal can dominate. Then we remove him, and Nalby might. So then he goes, and it's hewitt. But of course, we have to remove him....

Terrible logic, methinks. A big talent in sport, just like an innovative company in the business world, just encourages everyone else to get better / more competitive / more creative / etc. Bring on Federer, bring on the next sampras, the next Lendl, the next Borg....

WTA -- Both Williams, possibly Sharapova...
ATP -- Kiefer for sure! He really is a twit.

wta: shriekapova or just her tongue and vocal chords, whichever is fine.

atp: fed and nadal for a year or two only. im sorta getting sick of them making it a two man show. then again, i would die if hrbaty or some loser got a chance at winning a slam and adding to my horror one-slam wonder list so forget what i just said about the 2 man show.....that is all.

I will keep ATP as is. All those players are there because of their talent. No body offered a place for them. (If anything i would change one result. Patcash should have lost to Lendl in wimbledon final)

on WTA, i wish i could apply the same logic but i cant. For somereasons i dont like watching Williamses play. I wish they dont play any more. I am being very unfair for those talented sisters but i dont feel like watching them .

Serena has a WAY bigger ego than Venus. And it's surprising, too... When you look at her reaction to her very first Grand Slam title... 1999 US Open, match point on Hingis, staggers backwards with her hand over her heart- She genuinely cannot believe it that she won.

Fast forward a couple of years and she pitches a fit whenever she loses.

Sharapova definitely because I can't stand the screaming. It's no longer the noise from a player using all their energy into a swing, now it's just her screaming.

Keifer- One of the biggest jacka_sses to ever walk on court.

Serena and Venus without a doubt. Why are you guys picking on Sharapova? There are so many other players who are shrieking too, especially amongst the younger players.

    Ummm...?

Women: Davenport is the most boring to watch, but she's not even playing anymore, so I'll say Sharapova. Tone down those shrieks or else stick to modelling.

Men: can't think of any. I'd prefer to see other guys lift up their game than to see Federer or Nadal leave.

anyone who said Federer or Nadal is a TOTAL moron...
as much as i dislike Nadal... Watching those 2 go at it is a spectacle
that keeps me on th edge of my seat and i wouldnt miss that for anything.
Anyone who got into the top 50/100 on the ATP worked their ass off and thus deserves to be there...
but im sure i can make ONE exception...
ATP: Gaston Gaudio, he probaby wants to quit anyway cause he looks bored & casual when winning anyway, and he had his time in the sun for a brief moment, '04 @ French...
WTA- Anistasia Myskina, never cared much for her game or her on court demeanor... comes across as a bit of a prima donna cause of the whole Sharapova debacle.

oh and that guy who said Lendl should've won Wimbledon... yeah right, he never had enough grasscourt pedigree, and he CHOKED!

You can mute Maria. You can't stop ugly without not watching the match. Therefore, my vote goes to Venus. Ughh.

For the men...I dunno. I guess Kiefer but I never see him play anymore anyway.
