What good would a racket and set of string be if stranded in an island with no tennis court, no stringing machine to string the only set you have, and no one to play with?:)

tennis would be the last thing on my mind.

Any cheap racquet from Target or Walmart with a cover that only covers the racquet head, so I can use it as a paddle after building a boat to get off the island.

Wilson ncode nsix-one 95 18x20 (Dense pattern for durability)
luxilon Big Banger 5 star 15L for a lot of durability.
once it breaks i'd string by hand with a huge shread of a piece of bamboo.Hopefully the bamboo will hold its tension!

Alu because it would be the most durable......tie together some logs and you've got yourself a raft. Racquet.....something huge and light so that you'd be able to hit birds for food lol.

I would get a gamma big bubba and any strings that come in a 660 ft reel. I would used the racket as a net to catch fish.

And I would bring two hot chicks.

Wow...just wow. I mean, obvious answer is hot chick.

But if I HAD to bring a racquet and string, I would bring my LM painted PC600, leaded out and all, and it would be strung with....Klip Legend Hybrid. That being Klip K-Boom and Gut.

Yeah, it's very tough to answer. Probably I will choose a string set rather than a racquet. Not sure about making a raft (it will snap in shark-infested water) but probably I will be able to make a fish net, a bird trap, maybe a bow etc. I cannot think of any good use of a racquet (only).

Assuming that the island had a tennis court and someone to hit with (a woman would be cool, Jelena Dokic would be cooler);), I'd want pretty much what I have now; a Prestige Tour mid strung w/NRG2 18g @ 62lbs.

Edit: On second thought I'd probably go with Wilson Stamina 15g for added durability, Jelena hits pretty hard ya know.
