If you must eat strings, you'd better eat natural gut. It might actually be digestible? Eat nylon and you may have to see your surgeon.

Eat poly and you're screwed. Hey, Davydenko might take another bogus bet and lose. Stress fracture my foot, pun intended.

It won't happen, but just in case it does, get some natural gut. I think that is probably the most biodegradable string you can get. It might go down pretty good with some marinara sauce. :p

No, eat soft strings; the hard ones are not throat-friendly.

You never know with Davydenko. Remember what he said in Sydney the week before the AO? This is the week before the USO and he made the SF in Cincy, he needs some rest. He had some issues in his foot as well. I´m not sure that he will give the best of him in New Haven.

This week anything can happen...you shouldn't promise anything. Davydenko doesn't care about this week's results at all. Is it like 28th tournament of the year?

If Young wins...just to make sure you go through with this, have someone get it on video tape (i.e. you chowing down on a set of Prince synth gut), and post it here!

Wonder how much $$ Davydenko's gonna place on this match? And for whom?

OK, in case Dima doesn't come through on this one, IF Young wins (defaults don't count unless he's ahead) I will eat a tournagrip, and post it to youtube.

So Young lost? Good, tournagrip doesn't taste very good, and I don't think it's so good for the stomach. :)

    They haven't played yet, tommorrow...

How would you go about eating that tournagrip? I suggest sticking it in a blender and making a smoothie. ;)

Maybe he can have makisushi and use the tournagrip instead of seaweed to wrap them?

The strange thing is that the line on Davydenko opened up at -446. I thought that was a extemely cheap price on Nikolay. He is now -617 and favored to win by 5 games. Didn't Delic beat Davy earlier this year in Indian Wells and didn't the Donald beat Delic on Sunday? I still think Davy will win in straight sets and by 5 games.

I find really interesting that Young took that set from Davy, this shows that Young is ready for ATP, well at least this is a good start.

    Pretty Good

Lets give credit where credit is due. Donald just turned 18 last July and he finally won an ATP match and took a set from the #4 player in the world. Not bad for a player everyone was writing off a few months ago.

Donald is a good player that had too much attention and pressure put on him by the media and McEnroe. He may finally be coming into his own, only time will tell as he grows into the circuit.

I for one wish him all the best as I know how hard it is to make it on the tour.

I wonder what goes well with strings? Pesto, wasabi.....Anyways, I like the way Donald is playing. He plays a more intelligent game than Roddick.
