hmm so all this talk about PD's lacking accuracy is just because of user incompetence then? Seeing as a pro is using them.

He plays with lighter frame with Lux Original which is a dead string. He's also playing on clay. If you played with Lux original, it doesn't feel "loose" even at that tension.

Andreev might have one of the ugliest forehands around.

He said ugliest. So you think the Del Potro forehand is uglier? Because that is what he was talking about and what I commented on.

his forehand is ugly but one of the most effective on the tour. Forehand-wise, he's on a level with Nadal. Not in any other respect though. I'm a little surprised that his tension is that low, but as the above posters say, low tension is OK on poly strings, lots of pros use that kind of tension nowadays. I'm thinking about trying a poly at very low tension, I figure if you can get a huge sweet spot from lowering the tension and still get tons of spin and not too much power, why not?

I actually tried lux original at that tension, but i have to say i really didnt like it. I couldnt get any real bite on the ball for topspin it was just sailing long. I have a heavy racket however, dont know how much that can play a part.....

I guess it was a backhanded compliment, because his forehand ain't pretty to look at (ugly), but there's a lot of ball coming at you all the time (ugly).
