Yes I am being honest. There's no point in saying "OMG I AWESOME" and then you come play me, whoop my behind, and then say I suck. XD

If anyone around the Hanover Park area wants to play, Monday (Labor Day) would be a nice time to meet up. I've been wanting to play for a while now. :O

i am a 72 year old blind asian man who plays wheelchair tennis and have been rated as high as 2.0 in the last year.....

ok lets go with 19 year old 5.0 that sounds better.

And it is fine if you are not that high of a level.... I enjoy hitting with beginners and giving them practice...

As long as you can hit a slow ball back and not swing and miss then it's all good Vince_Has_Spin

So if you are this high rated then you must have played high school tennis and was ranked in the state, right ? if so, what was your ranking ? and are you playing college tennis as well ?

15, Yes, Male, I don't know. Honestly I am not even sure what an NTRP is. I know how to play though, I'm pretty good. Yes, I rarely swing and miss a ball. In fact I don't think I have in a long long time. I have pretty good topspin from what my friend tells me.

    Cool.

What courts do you want to play at and around what time on Monday?

Give me the name of the courts or a street address by it or something so I can Mapquest it.... cuz I am not too familiar with Hanover Park.

Place: There is the local High School courts. That is actually in Roselle, but it is very close to Hanover Park anyways.

The location of the High School is:
    Lake Park High School
    500 W Bryn Mawr Ave
    Roselle, IL 60172

Time: Whenever Monday is fine for me, so just PM me or let me know here.

Hmm. I'll have to check with my parents about the time, since I'll need a ride. :p I wonder if they have to work, it being Labor Day and all.

Yeah sure, I'm up for a 5 setter. Although it will be 3 sets of me losing. ;) Do you mind if I invite a few friends? And maybe we could do some doubles too? Or then split into 2 singles matches.

Yeah man as long as their names aren't Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer then it's okay.

Just post whatever time you can go when you find out and I will probably be able to be there at that time.

Sounds perfect, I should have a time by tomorrow for you. I'll PM it to you, unless it would be easier to post it here?

Rafa is going to be a bit upset that he can't play with us now, I already said he could. :\

Yeah just post it here, I check this forum like every day for hours.

I kind of dress like Nadal....... so that's a good thing he isn't coming, he would call me a poser.

No, no! Not ditched. I'm sorry, I had to go to my dad's for the weekend. And he has no source of internet whatsoever.

Um, I'm thinking maybe 12 in the afternoon today?

Ugh, my parents are going to have to talk. Her plans have completely ****ed me over, she never tells me about this stuff until last minute. My stepdad is out right now so I may be another hour for the actual time.

Sorry. They really **** me off.

Well, the thing is, my weekends are always filled up. I go to my dad's every other weekend. And then on weekends that I don't go, I usually have to get together with my friend for a "band practice" sort of thing.

Today they are going fishing, and having a picnic. And then out for dinner. Not sure when we are leaving, so I can't really tell what time I'll be back at. :p

I'll try to keep you updated here haha.

That sounds perfect. I'll need to leave at about 5:30 to 6:00 as my family is going out to dinner and I need to get back and shower, etc. And if you haven't noticed, it is just boiling out. It's 91 outside and I Live about 5-10 minutes away from the court. :p My mom is worried about me and the heat. Is that alright?

Darn. I just looked at their web page too and it said it's closed for business.

Where do you all get your stringing done? Any recommendations?

Anyone want to hit today (Wednesday) after 3pm or (tomorrow) Thursday before 5pm?

    I'm 24, male, hopefully at least 2.5.

Unfortunately I can't play too hard because of a small injury in my left knee, but my orthopedist said I can do some light hitting.

    Hi Mario,

I´m a 5.0 Argentinian amateur, staying in Schaumburg for the next two weeks. I would be more than happy to play some games on hard court! Let me know if you´ll be available.
