Just wondering if anyone is with me and has found or completed their own personal racquet quest... I have found and established that the Wilson prostaff 6.1 classic truly is an extension of my arm. It took 18 years and 3 eras of "hello", "goodbye" & "welcome back" but like so many players, no 2 racquets are never quite the same, and you never get a second chance to make a first impression. But I am fortunate to have now come to the realization that I play pretty good with the 6.1 classic so no more trials and errors, just play. :)

I'm with you and once my current batch dies of old usage, I am at a loss as to what I will do.
My game and modern sticks just do not go together... sigh.

Oh, trust me, the temptation of going back to my PC600 is always there.

I had that fear so I stocked up on POGs and a couple of Prince Borons.

However I tried a Donnay X-Platinum and it has all the best of the classics in feel etc.

so try a Donnay - you may be surprised!

I have quite a few favourites - Dunlop Max 200G, Wilson Prostaff 6.1. Chris Competition, Yonex R-50. And an occasional hit with a Head Youtek Speed Pro (my only modern racquet).

You know, Virginia, I never cottoned to the feel of the PS 6.1; just felt too stiff. I liked the 6.0/85.

The modified Head Graphite Edge is the extension. It is even perfect than the TXE version which i liked before. The soft feel and the pop sound is so unique.I play my best tennis with it.
