I broke the first main (from the center). So if counted from the left, it would be the 8th or 9th main depending which way the racquet face was flipped.

LOL that's good. No, I'd rather stay with syn gut. It's less harsh on the arm, and its cheaper and lasts longer. From what i've heard...

Two months? Was it Prince ProBlend or another Kevlar? If not, you're no man yet!

I'm just kidding ;) . Now you'll have to factor in strings to all your tennis expenses! Welcome to the land of always being broke.

Tecnifibre synthetic gut. Yea, but hopefully if I get a stringer, i'll get a 660' reel of the syn. gut from tecnifibre. It felt fine on my rdx 500. Plus, i don't break strings too often...*knocks on wood*

Congratulations, but do not be complacent. If you do not break your next set of string in one month, your man status will be temporarily revoked until you break it again.

hmm, sounds like the misc. section

LOL, I brush up on the ball, but I don't always get the spin lol. first string break felt good though, was wanting to try a lower tension for some more power.

I set a new record for myself today. In just two days, my PSGD cross is fraying! I expect it to be gone within a week. I've never had this problem before, so I guess it was just a weak point in that particular bit of string...

    Congrats!
That means I'm not a man yet, because I've played about 1-2 times each week, maybe 3, for the past month. Then I played maybe 3 times a month before that, I've had my string job for a few months now and I still haven't broken my strings. All I've gotten to is some fraying on my bottom 4 crosses.

I can pick up low balls with a lot of topspin but I usually hit flat to get myself to net quickly in doubles.

A REAL man breaks full-poly setups less than 2 hrs. Like our very own J011yroger who turned 37 today.

I'm about to purchase mine today. The stuff included sounds great, and a 30 day return policy, exactly what I need.

Oh nice. I'm at 3rd doubles. YOu on Varsity? I"m on Frosh/soph

If becoming a man means breaking strings, I would be very happy to be a virgin forever. Would have saved thousands on stringing over the years.

Wow, I guess I'm a man too. As a pregnant man, I should be able to get on Oprah! (Is breaking strings more manly than sporting a beard and mustache?)
