Closing in on Mordor (Gollum is hiding somewhere)
The enchanted Fjord of Bruinen where Arwen released a flood killing the horses of the Ringwraiths.
Approaching the Misty Mountains
etc.. NZ landscape.
Without doubt NZ is one of the luckiest places on earth with regards to scenery. I've been to many of the LOTR locations including climbing Mt 'Doom' Ngauruhoe a couple of times (and Mt Taranaki which served as Mt Fuji in Tom Cruise's The Last Samurai).
Are these your own pics or off a photo site?
^ Also, looks like Alaska and Canada are beautiful too, if you are into mountains, snow...
I've taken a lot of pics of the Himalayas where I've trekked a lot but have to find where its uploaded. These are off various sites, i find it therapeutic looking at nature, greenery and animals.
I read LOTR long long back, but these pics remind me so much of the book, next year when i re-read it, I'll keep this thread open.

It would be better to have a beer at Peder Oxe.
People really suck at this game....it's not a "post a bunch of cool pictures thread".
Atta boy Einstein
Read Dilettante's opening post (at top). Note the words "last" and "related." Mike Bulgakov posted a pix of a tower....a TOWER. So 'tower' was one of the themes in play here. FWIW, one indicator of intelligence is the ability to recognize patterns (tower). So you see loosegoose, it's not 'the people' per se who suck, it's jump the gun trolls like you who suck.

My dear astute friend,
If you noticed, this thread had died out completely. No one was playing, so some of us thought we'd post some pretty pictures of our vacations.
OTOH, you will notice that Music Game (and Word Assoc) is played very strictly.
Anyway, at least you found these pics cool
