Don't forget: "I've got the world on a string, I'm sitting on a rainbow, I've got that little string around my finger..." The Mercedes clearance event is going on right NOW!

I think it must have somehtng to do with that commercial. Hopefully they'll sell all the Mercedes and that will be the end of it.

It can't be worse than the Canadian commercial featuring a man who got his tongue injured when it got caught while he was licking an electric egg beater. It was on a thousand times during the masters, and now during the Women's in Montreal. I have no idea what product they're pushing because I press the mute button as soon as he begins to atttempt to speak. Maybe it's for cake mix or safety in the kitchen?

    New Commercial?

I only watched some of the Fish match, but I saw a different Mercedes commercial and not that one.

mercedes benz is so proud right now. why? because you guys remember their commercial. although some of you find it annoying, the commercial sticks in your head which is what mercedes planned to do. negative or positive results, they're advertisement works!

Peter is right, Mercedes commercials are often played many many times during tennis, but there is a reason for it. Tennis brings them Mercedes buyers, and it is cheap to advertise during tennis due to the lack of ratings, plus it's on cable.

I own a Porsche. Advertisement or not sticking to my head, I would never buy a Mercedez.

This shows how programming works. Just think if Mercedes would have spurged for Kornikova in those commercials, how many of you guys would have wanted to buy that ride

Hel-lo, Mercedes is the major ATP Tour sponsor, so of course they want to play their commercials during ATP broadcasts. I'm sure its all part of the deal that includes official tournament cars for Transportation services, prize money, drawings on the ATP site, etc, etc, etc. But, if you own a Mercedes, you are given preferred parking at most (maybe all) ATP events in the US, even if it's an old Mercedes.

That commercial was frigging annoying though.

That commercial was one of the most annoying commercials that I've ever seen in my life.

  14. Two words: digital cable. Oh, wait. Three words: DVR. I just keep the clicker in hand and fast forward before that stupid woman starts singing! Ahhhhhhhhhh!

AHAHAHAA welcome to the evil world of Canadian television commercials...and you thought American TV was bad!

That commercial is I think for a Tim Horton's donut drink.

BUT THE WORST, was the JVC commercial with a cheesy saxophone player who didn't move his fingers. (It was played constantly the last few years often 2x during the same commercial break...but it looked for all the world like it was filmed in the late 80's)

Canadians tennis fans know what I"m talking about!
    AHAHAHAA!

I find it very odd. Tennis brings Mercedes buyers. I have recently began to dive headfirst into tennis. I was more of a golfer. One reason I enjoy it more...its free to play...balls are cheap...and you only have to buy one racquet to start...you can buy some nice wick away clothes at Walmart. A cheap water bottle, and you are set. Funny how things work out...
