if, say, i added around 8 grams of lead tape to the 3 & 9 positions of my racket, and counterbalanced with the same amount on the handle, how much would my swingweight be increased by? an estimate?

Assuming that your racquet is 27" long, its swingweight will increase by 18. This number is all due to the lead in the hoop. The one in the handle will not, for all intents and purposes, affect the SW.
