Haas retired from the Coria match with a thigh injury. Doubtful for AO

    Scud ..abductor muscles...doubtful for AO

Maybe Safin is smarter than thought, not playing as hard as he can in Hopman. He has admitted to being out of shape and being out of shape leads to injury.

They were saying on the broadcast that Scud has some minor tears of the groin muscle. I'm not a doctor, but I think anytime one tears a groin it isn't minor. :)

If there is one area where I thought scud would be in good shape - it would be the groin area. He gets thru some serious totty...........

I'm surprised Coria isn't out yet.

And look where it's got him. Top 4, 3 out of the last 5 years.

Can't pull out now. I'm very happy to know that Argentina advanced to the finals even if it was by Haas' injury. This is the first time ever Argentina got to the finals and they will win it :D .

Sebastian Grosjean was upset today by Nikolay Davydenko after playing very well his last matches. Federer and Hewitt also won today after crushing their opponents. If he avoids injury until the AO, Coria will be likely to get to the quarters or better.

Exactly. He should have been top 4, 5 out of the last 5 years. And won more than one slam too. I wonder if he'll have a his box full of *****s like a couple years back at the AO. Will he be the hippo?

It's pretty tough to be in the top 4 when you're out with injury for 80% of the year. norcal. He plays his game his way, don't like the results, follow Federer. Guaranteed to make anyone happy.

I don't have TTC, but i read about Haas' injury. I kind of thought that he felt a little twinge and pulled out of the match to keep himself healthy for the AO.
Please don't tell me that it's another serious injury, I was looking forward to seeing Haas in a couple of weeks, love his game!
