If you are referring to Shaun T's workout DVD's, I have purchased them, but I won't get to them until I finish 90 days with P90X first.

I'm into week two and yes it is rough on the legs. I've started a pre-workout and postwork out drink to try and help with recovery. It is an awesome workout. It will leave you piled up in the floor in a puddle of your own sweat heaving..... It's awesome and will challange you to dig deeper than you thought possible.

I think it's about as perfect a workout for tennis as you could get. Don't believe the crap that's it's just cardio and won't work your muscles either. Lot's of up and downs, suicides, mountain climbers, walking pushups, v-pushups for shoulders and triceps.

There is no way this program will not pay off on the court.Probably not during the 60 days because you are so spent, but I can't wait to hit the singles courts with 63 days of insanity behind me and fresh legs.

I recent got the insanity deluxe package on a flash drive, so. I can play the movies in HD on a 72', and exercise at the same time. When you people do the workout do you do it full blast or half ass? My ankle tendonidus has pretty much disappeared, so I can start it very soon. Would it defeat the purpose to lift during insanity?

Did my 1st 2 sessions last week, it is a kick *** workout, calves were sore for 2 days after the 1st class. I am going to include at least a couple of sessions weekly along with my jogging.

day 15 of insanity and a 100% completely healthy diet, along with mountainbiking and tennis mixed in at least 3 times a week.

Have lost no weight, (maybe added muscle?) but feel like my legs and arms have more definition, and I am MUCH more flexible, can put my palms on the floor when trying to touch my toes.

When is this insanity thing? Some new training fad? I'm genuinely curious.

i hate to be the one to tell you, but exercise (like insanity) does not help you lose weight. you only lost weight because you ate fewer carbs in the past 51 days.

A set of home workout DVD's from Shaun T. You can see all of his stuff at beachbody.com and/or Amazon. I have his Hip Hop Abs, Dance Party, and Insanity workouts. Last time I tried insanity I couldn't get past the first 8 minutes of the warmup, but I am grossly out of shape right now so I have to do other things.

I dont necessarily agree with this. The body will change and burn fat. if you didnt change your diet at all you will still see change as you are now burning more calories. So you will lose weight or at least change your body composition a tad.

Last time I talked to you about fitness I remember you really being hurt. I hope your injuries are healed up and your feeling better.

It can be if you do it right and consistently. Most exercise programs out there work for the average person if they stay consistent in their effort and take what they chose to eat serious.

Thanks Mav, I have an MRI for my neck on Monday, PT for my shoulder on Fri (so close to have most of my range of motion back) and I can walk on the treadmill and ride a stationery bike right now, on the days I manage to drag myself down to the gym. I'll get there. Would be nice to play tennis again some day (and actually give insanity another try since I have the whole set).
