Roddick tries to redo the Safin-take-of-your-shorts strategy but falls over in the process.

    Associated Press 7/1/2006, Wimbledon-

To cap his stunning 7-6(1), 6-0, 6-0 Semifinal rout of Andy Roddick(3), Roger Federer(1) lifts the American superstar above his head, bodyslamming him into the worn ground of Central Court. The Swiss magician will face no repercussions for his action as most found it amusing. Federer will attempt to tie Pete Sampras with 4 straight Wimbledon titles on Sunday against Lleyton Hewitt(2) and add to his record 38 straight final wins.

poor Andy thought it was just a little bit of harmless chalk dust he was snorting before the trainers let him go perform for the circus crowd.

seems to me that federer is obviously not human... so perhaps this was some telepathic (Jedi?) move on Roddick after that early break by him in the second set? or maybe... maybe roddick is just clumsy...

Roddick, Andy (USA), former tennis player retired at age 23. Now he is training in long jumping and hopes to be more successful in this sport. By old memory and habit can't leave the racquet.
