Try finding the most boring reading material you have around and reading it in the most comfortable position you can get into.

    Good luck.

And if you don't like to read, try reading something you ARE interested in so at least you'll make the effort in reading.

You'll be out like a baby in no time. :)

I listen to the BBC World Service at night. It usually knocks me right out. And if I happen to stay awake for any amount of time, I might actually learn something.

What i do, is bring my mp3/recorder to the Sunday sermon, and record the pastor....i then heard the recording as i go to bed, kills me within 5 minutes. He has a type of hypnotic voice...its weird.

I tried reading A Brief History of Time, by Stephen Hawking a few nights ago so I would fall asleep. I nearly finished the book before giving up. After I stopped reading, I fell asleep almost immediately.

The trick to stop sleeping late at night is to bore yourself and don't allow yourself to enjoy what you're doing at the time otherwise you'll end up altering your pattern. I learned this in psych 110 hehe.
