I am interested in purchasing the Hawk 26e from Eagnas but a little worried about their reputation after reading this board. Is the problem with them when you try to buy a machine or if you need service after the purchase, or both. Getting the machine shipped quickly is important to me. Thanks

From what I've read in the last year or two, it's always the follow up support if something goes wrong. I don't think many have problems ordering (if you talk to the right person there), but it's asking questions and getting customer service. Note though, I have not talked personally with them, just relaying my impressions from what I've read here (a considerable amount of posts on this topic).

i'll echo craig. Sometimes the pre-sale service is a little lacking, and they dodge direct questions, but if you properly research your purchase you should have no problems. Call them directly for a better response.

One of the questions I would ask Eagnas before purchasing this machine is how many pounds of tension have to be lost after the set tension has been reached for it to start repulling. If it is only 0-2 lbs. that won't effect accuracy that much. Over that I think the results will not be as consistent as they should be. Also, ask about what you need to do to check and recalibrate the tension head.
