    ...for one grand slam to go by without 20+ threads being created defending and attacking various players?

    Seriously, are you that obsessed with your favorite player that when they lose you have to defend them, and attack everyone else?

    Is it not possible for you to simply enjoy the tennis at hand and congratulate the victor for being the better player during that match?

    Probably not. It's easy to talk crap when it's an internet forum. If all of us were gathered in an auditorium, how many here would still be shooting their mouths off...?

    The worst of the trolls, maybe. I'm just curious as to why people can't just watch tennis. Why do they have to attack players that aren't their favorite.

    Because most people here don't like tennis at all. They are only fanatics of one given player (that they think he is something like their God, even if they don't even know him in person, not realizing that these players are only persons that are good playing this game called tennis, nothing more).
