    Hi guys,

Last week-end, I bought a pair of Nike Court Ballistec 4.1 and I played less than 10 hours with them. The outside of the shoes is still looking new, the insoles are not even a little dirty, but look at the outsoles !! It is completly ridiculous !! I've never seen a pair of shoes showing wear that quickly. It's a complete joke to sale shoes like that ! Do a got a "lemon" of they are all that bad ?

    Thanks

Buy 4.3's or what ever 6-month guarantee shoe you like if you want longer lasting shoes.

Not a lemon, just a crappy shoe. You should buy the pro versions, the 4.3, or another brand's top of the line shoes. There are always loads of pairs on sale and they also come with a 6 month wear warranty. With low-end shoes like these, you get what you pay for I'm afraid. Learn from it and grab some on sale shoes that are of much better quality.

I see this all the time where people buy the low end shoes and expect them to last. The first thing I ask people when they come to buy shoes is "how many times a week do you play" and "what level player are you" comes as the next question. If you play more than twice a week (by twice I mean drills and maybe one match) then you should buy shoes that have the six-month durability guarantees. They cost more but save you money and headaches in the long run. Sorry but as previously stated, you get what you pay for.

I would say that the reason for buying nike shoes is never gonna be durability. NikeĀ“s are really comfortable, but durability sucks, no matter what model you buy IMO. If you want durability and stability, get some adidas, if you want comfort and cushioning, go with nike, if you want a middle point go either babolat or asics

To me the Vapors lasted even less. Way less. And less support.

So CB's 4.3 or Asiscs (which I'm about to try) and as a last resort the Barricades (I only own a V and it's a bit clunky).

New Balance, they tear along the sole every pair I've used.
