    The pictures are a bit fuzzy...but, yes I do think a crack will affect the playability of the racket. That appears to be a pretty big gash.

    It looks like it's just a major graphite chip, but I could be wrong.

    Even fuzzy I can clearly tell that its toast. May hold until you restring though but I wouldn't hit w/ it. Time to order a new stick.
