Photo from 2010 Medibank Sydney event, from another thread:
It is painted like a K Blade Team, but is that really a 104 sq. in. head? It would be interesting if one of the few remaining oversize (assuming 104 counts as OS) holdouts has gone MP.

It is either that or Serena has gotten bigger... hard to say.

104 is a midplus. On the edge (105 is the cutoff), but a midplus anyway.

The shape looks like Blade98, not Blade team.

105 is still a midplus. Or some call it midplus+. 107 is the cutoff and is the smallest oversize.

Whoops. That was a typo, now corrected; thanks for the catch.

Regardless of whether 104 is MP or OS, that racquet really looks like it ain't one.

    105 is an OS..

I don't care too much for the bull ***** that you youngins believe in. But Anything over 98 is OS.......

    95-98 is mid+

You're bull *****. We don't set the standard but manufacturers did. Just look at any racquet that is 105 and see if it said "oversized" on it. Anything smaller than 107 is still called a mid+. You like it or not.

maybe thats why she lost to dementieva. :)
she switched to a smaller head, but it doesn't look like a 98, maybe a 100 or 102? which seems insignificant to me. But it's probably just the pic

That was my first thought. Like Rodney Dangerfield in "Back to School" when he asks if he looks fat next to actors in a commercial; when told he does, he says, "Then hire bigger actors!"
