Is the V throat in Volkl's V-Engine racquets prone to break?

The V-shaped throats in Volkl's V-Engine racquets seem to made of a lightweight, cheap feeling material. With this and the fact that they have a bend (or crease) already in them, I was wondering if the throat bridges might be more prone to breaking or cracking than a conventional semi-circle arch bridge?

As we all know an arch is a very strong supporting structure but something with a bend already in it is not.

Anyone have any experience with this?

No the throat will not break. Volkl use to use this system years ago on the likes of the T 9 or the T 9-30.
