Is it safe and would it make sense if i were to do a full syn gut job and put the mains at 55 and the crosses at 58 to reduce string movement? Would this in any way deform the shape of my racquet? Would this work even though its not a hybrid string job?

Absolutely safe, and if you are trying to reduce string movement I would recommend 55/59. 4# seems to work a bit better.

Agree with Tod. Absolutely safe and agree with his recommendation of a 4 lbs increase for crosses over mains. Do not exceed +4 lbs though.
