I played about 3 hours yesterday, with my pure drive strung up with ashaway crossfire at 54/52 lbs. i had to use this setup because i am currently all out of polyester, and the ball flies on me with regular synthetic gut. man, it was a bad idea.

i woke up this morning, my entire left arm hurt, shoulder blades to fingertips. i've never had any sort of issue like this, in 7 years of playing tennis. it's extremely uncomfortable, and i've found i can't do much with my arm, for it will cause pain. tennis is absolutely out of the question for today, which is terrible considering 75 degree temperature.

    is this tennis elbow?

Get rid of the strings as quick as possible; it's clearly wreaking havoc on not only your elbow, but your whole arm and shoulder.

You may have tennis elbow somewhere in that mess

It could be referred pain from a pinched nerve in the C (neck) part of your spine. Or a pinched nerve somewhere in the shoulder area.
