They all have a different feel. I just got a bunch of different ones and I'm trying them all. All it takes is one match to tell which ones you like. Give the ones you don't like to friends to try or just drop them off at the pro shop. As for the original grip, yes it makes a difference, mostly in how much cushion the grip has. I use the grip for cushion and the overgrip for feel.

Tournagrip for hot, humid weather and Tourna Tac for cool and indoors. Actually consider the latter a higher quality overgrip as it lasts longer, but that could be because it doesn't get saturated.

If you buy them in the 30 pack, each costs about $1.

I find rosin works better than any overgrip. And I sweat. A lot.

I used to use Tourna original in the summer months. I bought some Pro's Pro Aquazorb Plus earlier this summer and I like the feel better. It's a dry overgrip with more of cushion than the Tourna. Feels nice over a leather replacement grip and one can't beat the price.

Downside is that it doesn't absorb sweat as good as the Tourna but since I'm not an extreme sweater it works for me...

Tourna is great if you sweat a lot but last about as long as a piece of tissue in humid hot conditions.

It won't last me 1 set. I've moved on to Toalson Ultra, great feel and the most durable so far.

I like these grips but i get blisters when i sweat. I started using the Pacific X-Tack Dry overgrip in white a few years ago and i am still happy with how they perform.

Watch Cinnci next week and all the humidity (usually D.C. too but not this year), and count how many of the pros are using Tournagrip. It just works.

    Yes. Wasn't impressed.

I do use their gauze - very sticky - to the point of making grip changes tough. The downside being that it doesn't last very long.

I use the XL and wrap completely from butt to the top of the grip. I secure with 6in of the Tourna red tape and then slip the rubber Head band over the tape. Tournagrip in the humidity and Tourna Tac for spring/fall and indoor play. With the Heads that I play with, I make sure there is a brand new Hydrosorb Tour grip underneath.

My hands sweat a lot in the East Coast humidity and I never have a problem with the grip and they generally last through 2 matches. Tourna Tac does last longer than Tournagrip but they serve 2 different purposes.

Is tourna the best? Some people will say yes, others will say no. Personally it's not for me but that doesn't mean it's good or bad, I just don't like it for me.

No sir. Yonex SuperGrab or Wilson Pro are the two best imo. I give the edge to the wilson pro even then :)

I don't like playing with over grips they make my handle bigger no matter how tight I wrap it I find I get less feel although it helps with sweat so I've taken my replacement grip off and use alpha grips and I don't have trouble with it slipping
