Pre-qualifying rounds are Saturday and Sunday in Tulsa, and the men's singles draw was posted today.

The women also start tomorrow in Riverside, California, and their pre-qualifyingsingles draw and doubles draw were posted today.

The women are not in Riverside, the tournament is hosted by the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, CA and the main draws are played there. The pre-qualies are being played at UCLA.

Yes, older brother. That was the reason there was speculation that Jack might spend some time in Lincoln. They are supposed to be very close.

    Qualifying draw

Redlicki vs Richmond will be a good one. There are a lot of good matches in this draw. Should be fun

wow only 8 qualifiers out of 128. That makes it very hard to qualify. I'll take a shot at who I think will qualify from each section.

    section 1:
Lots of good players here. Axel Alvarez is the sleeper. There could be a bigtime 2nd round showdown between Shane and Pasha. Quiroz also lurking down there. In the end I think Shane is too strong beating Alvarez to qualify.Justin Shane

    section 2:
Wide open section, with the big seed being Chris Simpson. Upstart Hokie Bjerrehus is the sleeper here. But my pick to get threw to the main draw is Franciso Dias

    section 3:
Another wide open section. No really strong players here, Kallberg is over seeded and will not qualify in fact he will lose first round to Hopkins. Hard to pick a winner out of here but I am going with new blood and picking Leonard Stakhovsky.

    section 4:
Maybe younger Shane can keep rolling through. He has some obstacles and ultimately won;t do it. Anis Ghorbel

    section 5:
I don't know, another relatively open section(all of these sections are cake compared to section 1). Matt Kandath

    section 6:
This is another tougher section, one of the tougher ones. Have some good players in here. Lipman is probably still too much out of form to do much damage. Newcomer from Miss State in here in Dumont. But at the end of the day I think the vastly improved Jason Tahir will qualify.

    section 7:
Interesting section. Includes two top tier ACC Freshman, Redlicki and Richmond. Wagland also in here. I will pick a surprise and select Romain Bogaerts to keep in going and qualify from the pre-qualies.

    section 8:
I;m not sure if Petrone can capitalize on the good draw. Sebastian Stiefelmeyer

Here is the link for the Live Scoreboard. 1st set of 12 matches are on court. There may be Live Video too but I can't see that at work.

That's interesting, the Live Scoreboard had it the other way around so I suppose it could have been backwards. I guess we'll find out when either school puts out a write-up this evening.

Draw sheet also shows Salibasic of Drake beating Kreyman of Wake 7-5 6-4 but the LiveScoreboard had Kreyman winning by that score.

Draw sheet now has reversed the scores on the Holiner and Kreyman matches and changed them to what I was thinking they should be.

Impressive win for Quiroz over Alvarez. Looks like he is ready to step into a bigger role for USC this year.
Also a good few wins for Morrissey of Stanford
3 routine wins for Bonin gets him in the draw.

    Qualifying Wrap Up - ACC puts 4 more into the main draw (Styslinger-UVA, Kreyman-WF, Hess-Olesen-UNC, Hemmeler-Duke), Big 10 puts in 3 (Diaz-OhioSt, Wolf-NW, Bonin-Minnesota), Pac12 puts in 2 (Quiroz-USC, Morrissey-Stanford), SEC puts in 2 (Pasha-UGA, Vinsant-aTm), VCU puts in 2 (Heugas, Wennakoski), Boise 1 (Bettles), GW 1 (Dias), and Memphis 1 (Salisbury).

Wow Kreyman must have fought off some match points to pull off that win.

    Pasha looking much improved.

Styslinger looked good, although he did het a fairly soft draw.

I'm pretty surprised to see Hess-Olesen qualify. I didn't think he was much of a player/ Looks like he has improved.

Another example of how good Duke is going to be with Hemmeler qualifying. He will probably be playing 6 this year for Duke yet he is beating players like Bjerrehus who will likely play #1 for the Hokies next year.

Chris Diaz looks like he is ready to be inserted into the Ohio State top 6.

Day 1 possible upset specials - Stropp over #11 McMorrow in the 1st round, Alcorta over #12 Teaney in the 1st round, Giron over #5 Zsiga in the 2nd round, Pasha over #14 McLachlan in the 2nd round, Hamza over #16 Borsos in the 2nd round. If Vinsant has enough in the tank and can make it to the 2nd round I think he could give Cunha a run.

Final 8 - Gomez, Domijan, Dome, Sarmiento, Singh, Scholtz, Giron, Libietis
Final 4 - Domijan, Dome, Scholtz, Libietis
    Final 2 - Domijan, Scholtz
    Champ - Domijan

Strslinger will probably play Jenkins in the 2nd round so that should be interesting. You got to think he'll be in the lineup at no worse than 6...maybe ahead of Uriguen at 5. Richmond and R. Shane probably #7 & #8. UVA will have one deep lineup. Any UVA fans with a different projection for the freshmen?

Ryan Shane has looked the best so far, despite not getting as far as Styslinger in this tournament. I think that Uriguen might be doubles-only this year, especially as the hip injury has never completely gone away. Harrison Richmond will be in a three-way competition among the freshmen for two singles spots in the top 6, I think.

Can anyone get score updates from the ITA livestats page? I see a 1-1 score and the rest are 0-0. Play was supposed to start an hour ago. Weather Channel says no rain in Tulsa.

I hit refresh and random scores appear. Like I just saw Hamza leading 7-5 1-2. Then I hit refresh and it goes away,
