Please note that it has been decided to conclude the non-discussion of Melzer’s non-career in this thread, so as to prevent any further outbursts of rage from poster Hidious. If you are so keen to discuss Melzer, you may wish to start your own thread, although I doubt anyone would post in it.

I can tell by your posts that you have plenty of friends. Carry on...

In contrast, I get the sense that you are in dire need of people to talk to, as you continue to post off-topic in a thread after an emotional outcry from Hidious begging for you to stop, and my own repeated pleas to cease this off-topic discussion in a thread on Davydenko’s new racquet. You may want to start your own thread in the “Odds and Ends” subforum to discuss your emotional issues. I would certainly do my best to help you there, but I can no longer condone your unilateral continued effort at derailing this particular thread.

Please, help me, I beg of you, can't you tell I'm an emotional wreck crying out for help?
On a significantly more related note, I do believe that the racket Dayvdenko is using is actually a Dunlop. From the look of things there aren't any O-Ports on it...

Well yes actually, I was getting the sense that you might be an "emotional wreck crying out for help", as you put it, which is why I wrote what I wrote in my previous post. As for your insight on Davydenko's new racquet, I hope you put that information to good use, match the specs and start hitting the ball just like him as the natural result of your investigative effort. Keep us posted.

He's supposedly going to play with the new Dunlop 200 Plus, their new 100 sq inch stick coming out in November

    SoBad,

You seem to think that writing your non-sense in quality English (i can at least acknowledge your writing skills) enhances the credibility of your posts. While your long sentences and superior vocabulary may artificially raise your level of maturity and prevent you from getting banned (you obviously aren't much more mature that the average poster), well written garbage is still garbage.

I applaud your effort to "to grant [my] motion in this case and cease any further discussion of Melzer in this thread", but getting out of this thread would obviously be the preferred option as Dunlop bashing is just as silly as Melzer bashing.

    Thanks.

I’ve done my best just earlier to honour your very rudely worded request, and at this point I’d like to ask that you hold yourself to the same standard that you require of others. You are the only one who is still trying to talk about Melzer here at this point, and I’d like to ask you to stop. Please, either stick to the topic (Davydenko’s new racquet), or just leave the thread. Thanks in advance – we would all appreciate your immediate cooperation.

You were not going to mention it? You just did. To play tennis on a international level you have to travel. I don't know of a single player who was successful just staying home and play his federation's Futures events. In Melzer's very first Futures event in Feb. 1998 he Qualified and got to the Quarterfinals of the main draw. He got his ATP points in his first Futures event. His points came on right then. Your arguments are what is pointless.

Journeyman don't get ranked 13 in the world and make over $6million in prize money. A journeyman is someone who grinds it mostly in Challengers like Gabashivili.

I apologize again to everyone else derailing this thread.

journeymen also have a tough time beating djokovic, verdasco, cilic, ferrer, feli lopez, troicki, ferrero, fish, nalbandian, monaco, and robredo...all in one season that still has 2-3 months left in it

Why is SoBad still around? I've never seen a valuable post from the guy. He's like a less friendly Fedace who always uses a dictionary/thesaurus to make himself seem smarter.

Back on topic, has anybody seen more pictures of whatever frame Davydenko is using?

thin beamed, 100 sq in, and 18x20. seems like its a new dunlop stick because i can't recall any previous dunlop sticks with those characteristics. he might be liking this one better than the previous models that he was testing as well because he's playing much better in beijing now, just took out cilic

On the atp website for the article detailing the match between Davydenko and Cilic, it shows he is still using an O3.

Since you seem to be a fan of well versed criticism of others I thought I would one up you ;) Just to inform you about your previous posts about Melzer your arguments are logically unsound. By using the list of illicit fallacies you broke fallacy #4 ad hominum, meaning by insulting a person just for credentials, characteristics or predetermined situations (ie status of family's wealth) your argument is logically unsound. Thus meaning that nothing you said has any weight or truth. You cannot argue the logic of philosophy even lawyers take this class in order to become better lawyers, I suggest you do the same so you don't stick your foot in your mouth after this moment.

Are you sure it is a 100 sq, as I have never seen Dunlop making such a stick, except maybe for Almagro but in a 16x19 or 16x18 version, but in any case a 18/20. This could be interesting to give it a try according to the weight.

Look at the right side (inside) of the racquet. It is clear there are no ports, otherwise you would be able to see through the racquet.

No ports. I watched the replay of the Isner match and scrutinized.

The head does look pretty round...similar to his old stick. I wonder if the retail version will come from the same mold...

Once again, this thread is about Davydenko’s new racquet, and off-topic comments about Melzer are no longer entertained here. As for the rest of this attempt at a post of yours, all I can suggest is that you study hard and stay away from drugs and fantasies about law school – neither of those will do you (or the society at large) any good.

This was discussed in another thread. The racquet is the Biomimetic 200 Plus and it's 100" 18x20.

Lol law school, why would I go there? And trust me nothing is more satisfying than buddha ;) (not the religious figure) Also you are the one who insulted melzer first...meaning you bought the whole thread off topic and are responsible for this argument (actually lack of in this case, broke another fallacy...tsk tsk)

SoBad is the perfect example of the "law abiding" troll. He can derail an entire thread, and then tell everyone that they are the ones who are derailing the thread, not him. Furthermore, he never insults one directly, but rather uses proper English, clearly he alway has a thesaurus on hand, to avoid being banned...

Yeah...his english isn't impressive at all. Its one thing to be naturally smart and being able to write eloquently, as opposed to trying to force out intelligent words that have a loose connection with the proper adjective (mainly what he substitutes in terms of style.)
