JJ looked so good the last 2 matches I watched....6ft 8, great serves, disguised drop shots, great shot selection, big forehand, great footwork and very athletic for his size.
He is more athletic than Raonic, Isner, Querry, Del Po IMO. Mental is strong too.

21 year old with great potential!

Nadal hasn't played for half a year already, and Ferrer still couldn't manage to win one. This is probably his only chance to win a masters title, but I'm rooting for Janowicz anyway. ;)

Ferrer is so boring. I hope Janowicz wins but I don't have my hopes up.

I hope Jerry wins. He's fun to watch, hurts me to say but it's true. This coming from a long time Ferrer supporter.

When does this match start? (how many hrs from now)
Also, I'm rooting for Janowicz, but if nerves get to him then it's probably Ferrer in 2. Ferrer is just too solid, and you can't beat him unless you're playing well.

Having come this far, Ferrer will really, really, really want to win this match to get his first Masters. He's already in the situation where he's going to be the most tired player in London, and will have accepted he's unlikely to do much there, so no point in saving himself.

I don't think Murray deliberately tanked, but he wasn't exactly digging deep to make sure he took this opportunity to fill that gap on his mantelpiece where a 9th Masters trophy would sit so nicely.

Ferrer also has the advantage that everyone's had a good chance to look at JJ's game, and will have a better idea of what to expect.

I actually think JJ's lack of experience will give him an advantage, because the pressure on Ferrer will be huge. Ferrer's main advantage is that he is more used to the physical and emotional demands of a big tournament.

Everybody loves a fairytale but it would be heartbreaking if Ferrer came so close and still not win.

Finally I decided to root for Jerzy. Why? I'm pretty sure loads of Federer/Djokovic/Murray fans don't want them to play Rafa in the QF at AO.

David is hanging very tough! Near or at baseline even for these big serves, and running like a jackrabbit as expected

    I don't like Janowicz's tennis and personality.

    Go David!
