The tournament is played in the arena that the Sharks play in.

Probably gave him the jersey since he's Canadian as well.

I think that lately every singles champion is given a jersey near the end of the trophy presentation. I'm pretty sure The Sharks aren't his team, but he was real cool and wore it anyway.

They probably profiled him being from Canada and said screw it, he likes hockey anyways:oops:

the tourny was held at the hp pavilion (aka the shark tank), where of course, the san jose sharks play. They probably gave him the jersey as advertisement of the team, and plus he is canadian.

Yes, it was because he is Canadian and yes it was also in San Jose. I saw his post win trophy presentation, and one of the tournament coordinators (I believe) said before the tournament that if Raonic won he would also give Raonic his "premium Canadian maple syrup" and that he did, and myself being a life long hockey player and a fairly new tennis player I thought that was a cool gesture. Another side note, the San Jose Sharks are heating up since Raonic won that tourney so maybe some of Raonic's luck rubbed off on the team :)
