Seems a good match-up, may be a tight match. Heart says (wants) Jerzy in 3 but head says Bird in 2 tight ones.

Might be good. Didn't know JJ was 6ft 8in. till yesterday. Moves pretty good for that size.

Just pulling the stream up now. JJ's service game looks like it's on today.

A good dropper, there. Seems like he's figuring out how to construct points better than his contemporaries.

Berd's playing well to scramble the balls back in play, but Jerzy just made an amazing passing shot. :)

Janowicz is nowhere near as solid player off either wing so coming to net more might be a wise move.

LOL at Berdych's face when he saw that the JJ serve was in by a millimetre.

Is it just me or the serves in this service game speed up significantly?

Just not getting into any of Berdych's service games. The first set was a bad omen for Jerzy if he served over 80%, Berdych, under 50%, and still lost 6-3.

He's blasted a few winners off the return, but seems pretty indifferent when he has to rally in return games. If he wants to get better, he'll have to try a lot harder in that department.

The scoreboard was wrong for awhile, it's now 5-4 to Janowicz on serve, Berdych to serve to stay in the set.

Janowicz seems serving better now. And how many return winners has he put in? There's at least 5/6 IMO.

Jerzy's hanging around 140 mph serves, moving pretty good.

JJ's got game. Berdych is one of the few players that I don't really like, so I'd love to see JJ pull it out.

It's crazy how JJ has 80% first serves in with when he smacks it like that all the time.

JJ can trouble the best players as he has a big game.

Not sure he will do it with any consistency though. Will be interesting to see how his season goes though, he is fun to watch I think.

^Big time potential. But, this is his first real season at tour level, so I expect some ups-and-downs and inconsistencies. He's a guy that I don't think any top seeds would want to see in their part of the draw, because he's got the game to knock anyone off if he gets hot.

He should be challenging for slam titles at some point in the next few years. I think it's unfair to expect that right away, but after a year or two of tour level competition, he should be knocking on the door.
