LMAO Berdych face plam. Whole court open dtl.
Great volley from Tsonga, I thought it was Berdych's point initially.
Maybe, but it was nevertheless the right tactical decision to make ( I'd think the same even if it didn't pay off), he had to mix it up and pressure Berdman
Tsonga got this. 4-1
Quite the exciting match. Go Berdych!
Not a good timing for a double fault Jo.
That wasn't necessary, Jo...
5-4 Tsonga on serve
In-form Berdych is in-form.
6-5 Championship point
Well done, Berdych. Will Tsonga take another risk?
Great serve, haha!
Berd with a MP.
Jo does it again... only needs to win this set.
Just as expected Tsonga fires an ace. 6-6
this sportlemon.tv does NOT work
And a second.
Challenged by Berdych.
Smack on the line.
Set point Tsonga.
Gotta say: that's some very clutch serving.
Tsonga takes the breaker! He saves a match point on the way.
If Tsonga wins this match it would be the biggest daylight robbery since the great train robbery of 1963.
Allez! We'll go to a third!
What's this thing about Berdych losing 2nd set tiebreaks? It's the 3rd time this week already.
Jo really gutted this set out, Berdman was cruising on his service game and was constantly pressuring Jo's serve but came up short in tiebreak.
Tsonga back on level terms...
Berdych still has the upper hand if he can stay the course mentally... will he be able?!
And with Tsonga saving match points? He saved like 5 against Tomic.
Some stats there! Shows how great the match is...
And they're playing 'Chain of fools' again? I'm starting to think that's the only song they have rights for...
Oh boy, Berdych dropped just 4 points on serve in the entire set and was a constant threat in Tsonga's service games. That's gotta hurt.
Clutch serving from Tsonga though, it reminds me of his match against Tomic earlier this week, where he saved 5 MP's. Is he destined to win the title?
If Jo wins this one, when was the last time a player saved MP's in more than one match along their way to the title?
Berdych was leading in every stat wasn't he?
I can't belive how much great tennis we're being robbed of by the ATP because of the joke surfaces that are favored nowadays.
I think so, but I'm not sure anymore.
I do know he had 20 winners and only 9(!) UE's. Not bad if you ask me.
Berdych needs to come in more this set...
Just as Jo has just done...
Berdych starting to make the errors Jo did in the first. 0-30
the crowd is so confused.. not paying attention to the lines and line calls.. haha
Tomas complaining about something... the french won't like this... not that it matters to him!
Awesome all-court play from Jo to earn a BP (don't see that very often these days).
Well structured point here. Another BP for Willie
i would serve and volley now if i was berdych... on this point.
Tsonga breaks! 2-1
instead he was stuck in no mans land.. hits into the net.. serve broken.
Tsonga's serve is just on fire!
Excellent stuff from Jo now.
Tsonga consolidates the break, 3-1
berdych complains to umpire about tsonga... thinks he's bouncing too much during service, rosol style...
tomas is losing focus. he needs to get back on track and win these matches instead of worrying about things outside his control.
I'm happy to see that, he was looking too damn strong for my liking and he's in Fed's half in Dubai.
But he'll have to go through Tsonga first, anyway:twisted:
Does everything have to be about Fed?
Umpire: "this is little bit of jumping up and down tomas, not even sideways, there is nothing i can do."
Tomas: *look of disdain*
Jo coming back to earth a bit, half a chance for Berdman.
Dubai is going to be very interesting... will be the revenge match between these two regardless of the outcome tonight..
We can twist is around.
Berdych loses confidence, Federer moves safely to the final. Beats pusher Djokovic in the final. I'm happy for 2 reasons.
Down 0-30: Serve and volleys, hits a winner by playing first strike tennis, aces and hits a servewinner. np.
the French have as usual great streams, great cameras & TV systems:
Tsonga holds from 0-30
4-2 closer to the title
